With cutting-edge equipment, Openex produces components with dimensions up to 120 inches x 152 inches x 70 inches. With five-axis boring capacity and a 15-ton crane, we can produce complex, large components with precision tolerances of ± .0005 inches.

With some of the most significant equipment in the industry, including three- and four-axis turning machines, our collection of horizontal, vertical, and CNC lathes allow us to handle parts with dimensions as large as 152 inches in diameter and 240 inches in length while maintaining a ± .001 inch tolerance.

Our years of experience and precision milling equipment give Openex the ability to provide milling services for parts up to 84 inches tall, 113 inches long, or 336 inches wide. With a variety of planner mills and three- and four- axis CNC vertical machining centers, we can handle any milling function your project requires while maintaining the quality you demand. Our shop maintains the tightest industry tolerances of ± .0005 inches in planner and vertical milling services.

At Openex, we combine high quality manufacturing with CMM inspection services to produce excellent goods for our customers. At Present, we have three( one ZEISS MMZ G large bridge CMM, one ZEISS ACCURA II bridge CMM, and one laser tracker Leica AT901) different machines used for coordinate measuring and each machine is handled by fully qualified and skilled members of our team.
