Radiographic Testing (RT) is a core non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to inspect the internal structure of welds, castings, and fabricated components. Our In-House NDT X-Ray Testing Labs

We operate three advanced X-ray testing laboratories to serve large-scale and high-thickness inspection needs. Our largest facility supports parts up to:

• Testing range: 30,000 mm x 6,800 mm x 6,500 mm
• Testing thickness: Up to 200 mm

How Radiographic Testing Works

RT uses either X-rays or gamma rays to penetrate a component and create an image that reveals internal flaws such as cracks, voids, inclusions, or density changes. The test-part is positioned between the radiation source and a detector (film or digital). Differences in material thickness and density affect radiation absorption and are captured for analysis.

We offer multiple RT imaging technologies including:

• Film Radiography
• Real-Time Radiography (RTR)
• Computed Radiography (CR)
• Digital Radiography (DR)
• Computed Tomography (CT) – for 2D and 3D internal views

All procedures comply with strict safety and Local Rule protocols for radiation handling.
